Non-adoption of PeopleSoft Workflow Engine (AWE) by FIN Asset Team
Usually Oracle compiles documentation to show how functionality works. However, in this case it compiled a document to show that functionality does not work as it is supposed to.
The document referred to is on the Support Site (Doc ID 2827786.1) entitled "AssetSelfService Workflow Not Working For Two Level Of Approvers" (also attached to this discussion)
A customer reported on 23 Nov 2021 that Asset Self-Service Workflow was not working for 2 level of Approvers. The issue was logged as with severity 2 i.e. "severe loss of service". Oracle then investigated and compiled the document to show that there was indeed a problem. However, it was then explained to the customer that this was not a bug but the system was "working as designed".
