We would like to add another status to "Close" a Purchase Order

We would like to add another status to "close" a Purchase Order, similar to the process of cancelling a line or PO.

We recognize that statuses 900-999 are hard-coded and nothing in that range should be used. Is there a suggested status that we should use to be able to add to simply "close" a PO rather than "cancel"? Could we use something in the 800-899 range that works well and is recognized without breaking anything?

Have any Government agencies implemented anything similar? Are there any issues from using an additional status to denote closing out a PO?
