How to do automatic start/end of day with till issue/reconciliation in Xstore
I want to design a process in Oracle Retail Xstore where a register can perform the entire store lifecycle automatically without manual intervention. Specifically, the following should happen:
- At the start of the day:
- Perform Store Open automatically.
- Perform Register Open automatically.
- Perform Till Issue automatically.
- At the end of the day:
- Perform Counting/Reconciliation Till process automatically.
- Perform Register Close automatically.
- Perform Store Close automatically.
The goal is a fully hands-off automation of store and register operations (open → till issue → close), so no cashier or store associate needs to intervene.
Currently, I am using Xstore version 21.
