Unable to Connect UAT Capture to Microsoft Exchange Email (OAuth – MFA Issue)
Problem Description:
We are unable to configure the UAT APWF email account in Capture. While verifying the email account, the following error appears:
“Connection Error – Unable to connect to the specified Email Account” (screenshot attached).
Details:
- Environment: UAT
- Application: Oracle Capture (APWF)
- Email Protocol: Microsoft Exchange Web Services (OAuth)
- Email ID: uatsuppliersetup@cimcapps .com
- Error occurs during verification of email account configuration.
- Microsoft Authenticator MFA is enabled for this account. MFA challenge is failing, causing the connection issue.
Impact:
- UAT Capture is unable to connect to APWF email boxes.
- Mail processing is blocked in UAT.
Troubleshooting Done:
- Verified OAuth Client ID, Secret, and Scope.
