Keep getting this error: [ERROR] - [FAILED] Napply Precheck Report command has failed for wls Home

I have been trying to patch a Fat Client that hasn't been updated since January of last year and I keep getting the above message. I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. I have patched 10 other machines and half of them updated to the latest patch with no issues. Another 3 I updated quarter by quarter, But I have 2 machines that are just not updating. Any failsafe way to get a machine to update. I am trying to use patch for 12.2.1.4.0
