Mass update available for the Person Removal Data tool

The PDRT tool currently operates on a per-record or per-removal-request basis. However, we now have a requirement to perform a bulk update using a list of suppliers and customers that are provided to us.

Are there API's or other options available to perform bulk data updates and if so are they documented?
There was an enhanced Idea 23918 opened 6 years ago. Have there been any progress on this ?
