ECC Inventory Items dashboard displays EAM asset groups and asset activities.

The Inventory Items dashboard is displaying EAM asset groups and asset activities. I realize that this EAM data is stored in the mtl_system_items_b table, but since this is the Inventory Items dashboard why is the EAM data also displayed? It seems to me that this data should not even been loaded into this dashboard, given that it has nothing to do with inventory items.
