I want to understand the process of non serialized rebuildable with in oracle eam
Unlike serialized rebuildables, non-serialized rebuildables are defined as inventory stockable items with an asset type set to Rebuildable, but without serial control. Since they are not serialized, assets cannot be created for them, nor can they be assigned to an asset hierarchy.
This raises a question:
- In such cases, how is the rebuild follow-up work order created—based on the asset group or a virtual asset?
Additionally:
- For serialized rebuildables, how can they be returned to inventory after the repair is completed?
