We are onboarding a company we purchased into E1. They currently have "smart" item descriptions that are 60 characters long. Splitting into two (description 1 and 2) is not going to work for them.

Ultimately they'd want to be able to search by this field during order entry. Is there anything out there that would facilitate this? I was even thinking of creating a custom table to hold this but would need access to it in several programs.
