Migration to new servers

in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) Question

Dear Team,

We have 2 node RAC physical servers with 19c version, os is RHEL 7.9

Servers reached end of life.

Can you please give us some idea on steps required to migrate to new server please.

  1. Can we backup existing RDBMS HOMES and GRID HOMES and restore to new servers. Does it work?

OR

  1. Do we have to install GRID HOME in new servers and restore rdbms homes from backup.

Can you please kindly guide us at high level.
