What would set the CLASS_TBL.WAITLIST_DAEMON field to be the either Y or R ?

Whilst fielding some questions from our departments about waitlists and when they run on a class, I've looked more at the WAITLIST_DAEMON field.

We run our waitlists processes as WaitlistSwitch is A (All Candidates) so I know it will run for a class if the WAITLIST_DAEMON is 'C', 'Y' or 'R'.

I understand what causes the WAITLIST_DAEMON to be set to 'C' but I was curious on the triggers to set the field to either 'Y' or 'R'?

Also, am I correct in my assumption that if the WAITLIST_DAEMON is set to C and there is only one student on the waitlist who subsequently gets enrolled via Quick Enroll into the class (leaving no students on the waitlist), the WAITLIST_DAEMON would then be set to N ?
