Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

I need to activate the Long Password feature. I have some questions about it.

When activating it, do I have to clear the cache? Restart JAS instances? Does this impact JDE performance?
I need to modify some policies. Is it better to activate it first and then modify the policies?
Once activated, are all policies modified from P98LPSEC?
Does this also apply to proxy/system passwords?
Can it be changed in batches? by user groups?
