How to republish config item into BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS

Unfortunately, the team has purged some config items and data is deleted from BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS. Is there a way to republish again so data gets inserted into BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS . We enter CTO sales orders and use match configuration functionality for the star items since the configuration does not exist in BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS the sales orders are getting created with a new star item. We want to create Sales orders with old configuration but configuration does not exist in BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS .
