Can the employee referral program be used to award PTO days?

Our talent team is looking at piloting a new employee referral program. I have a few questions, to help determine if the PS delivered Employee Referral program would be able to be used to manage the program to make that connection between the employee and applicant for the referral and ultimately send the information to the payroll team to process the award should the applicant be hired for the position.

1. Can the PS delivered Employee Referral program be used to award eligible employees a PTO day instead of a monetary award?
2. Can we use the Employee Referral program if the applicant does not apply for the open position thru the PeopleSoft Careers page? All external applicants apply for open positions thru an external site provided by Talemetry.
