Update Internal Bank Account auto change in Old payments

Dear Expert,

I want to change the internal bank accounts Name. I did the same practice on test instance after updating the Bank account name it is updated in all old payments automictically.

Since the payment is already paid and reconciled i don`t want to update the bank name on old payments as there is any profile option or any other way to not update the Old payment . The change will be only applicable for New payments ?
