Xstore 23 Validation Prompt while returning zero quantity item

In xstore 23 while performing a verified return transaction we are able to return item again which has been already returned. Scenario follow,

1. Perform a sale with an item 2 quantity.
2. Return the transaction with 2 quantity of item.
3. Again scan the same transaction id for return - we are seeing zero quantity. But able to return it.
   

Can someone suggest is there any parameter for this in Xstore base.
