Is there any way to change the accrual date in the revenue event after I have processed it

I have created a revenue event and ran the program from revenue recognition- and now it is in the Accepted status - Now I want to change the accrual date in it. What is the way for it ?

Is there any script to change the status from Accepted to pending or rejected ? If I can do this then I can make it Unreleased - and then run the program - delete draft revenue and remove the event and then create new one with correct accrual date. - If anyone can provide the script please do .

Or is there any direct way I can resolve ?
