Java question...(Category not correct)

I have created applets and have not had an issue. I am now receiving an error message:

'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

I know the issue is simple but the simple fixes have not worked. I have pointed the path to include the bin…did not work.

I have also attempted a uninstall/install of java… still did not work. I have restarted a new command prompt window with each change.

ANY help provided would be greatly appreciated.
