Migrating from Ingres to Oracle 19c

Hi,

Any one done this? The application is built in the late 90:s. It uses the Oracle client (OCI) to communicate with the 19c db.

One thing we have seen when using TKPROF is that the FETCH is almost equal to the number of rows. Which makes things going slow.

"SQL*Net message from client" is very common. Not much work is done in the database.

Any tips and tricks?
