Reopening of one of the closed peiods in AR

We are currently working on a project where no AR periods were closed for the past two years (from April 2023 to March 2025). Recently, the customer has closed all the past AR periods. Transactional data only exists for the first three months (April to June 2023). The business now intends to reopen the March 2025 period in order to perform some adjustment transactions to align the closing balances with the legacy system.

Please advise on the potential impact of reopening a previously closed period where no transactional data currently exists. GL periods are also not closed till Mar 25.
