Upgrade ODA x8-2HA from 19.9 to 19.22

Dear all,

We are planning to patch/upgrade our system ODA x8-2HA upto 19.22 or 19.18. The end release depends on partner's application certification. We have a Bare Metal deployment and system have production and testing databases with independent binaries each other.

We'd like to have a high level undertanding . From my understading we should go from:

  • 19.9 to 19.13
  • 19.13 to 19.18
  • 19.18 to 19.22 using DPR (it depends on apps certification)

Questions:

a. Are the above steps ok? or there is a better recommendation to get 19.18 in place.

b. As we have an HA system with productions databases, is there a way to play the patching the 1st node and then go to the 2nd node?
