Oracle EBS/WMS - Issue with dropping full LPN while WIP material issue for Discrete Job

We have a peculiar case - In UAT the entire LPN gets dropped in one go for material issue for discrete jobs using the hand held device as well as from telnet client. Our UAT instance a clone of Production instance. But in Production instance while trying to drop the LPN, we have to drop Item by item and the entire LPN does not get dropped in one go either from the hand held device or from the Telnet client. We have checked and compared all the probables which could cause this error
