How to add an Item Category to all Approval Groups in Oracle EBS (API or automated method)?

Hi all,

I’m working in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (Purchasing module) and would like to add a specific Item Category to all existing Approval Groups.

Question:

Is there any supported API or Oracle-recommended process to bulk update all Approval Groups (e.g., to add a new Item Category line)?

If not, is there a known or supported alternative (e.g., interface, FNDLOAD, or another standard method)?
