Has anyone found a work around for the SaveEdit event mapping issues with Activity guide?

We are trying to edit a field using even mapping save edit for Fluid Person. This works fine, when we get to the Summary page the error will trigger correctly. However, when we click the Previous button to fix the error, the name of the employee is gone in the Activity Guide. Has anyone else seen this and found a way to keep the name?
