Here is the request by using same Finished Goods Item Code but allow for multiple BOM versions tagging.

Example V1 - FG123 using raw material RM123 and RM456

V2 - FG123 using raw material RM123 and RM789.

Possible BOM define in same BOM with multiple version and MRP able to planned it accordingly.

Standard Cost using for the consumption and actual variance calculation based on actual raw material.
