ET Options for Data masking on PII data without loss of data and without any performance issues

Our Client need a data masking on HR and Payroll Module for PII data.

As per the note given by SR 3-42407335791, Its purging some of the tables and possibilities of the data loss and performance issue.

We don't want any data to be delete/truncate and performance issue. If the data going to be truncated then there is no point in using the data masking.

Also we can retrieve the original format whenever needed. Kindly advice on this.
