Unable to view .xlsx (Excel) or .doc (Word) attachments within JDE E1

Hello,

this is relating to P4310: FCC0001 FORM: W4310G

Users can view PDFs using the Smartview? (i am not sure if that is what its called). However, if an Excel or Word document is uploaded as an attachment to the media object viewer they are required to download the files to be able to view them. Is there a reason why PDFs work but other files do not? I did browse and all it says is to download the files and view on local machine.
