Advance preference in JDE

I am trying to default the line type on sales order based on Advanced Preferences. I know that the system normally defaults the line type from P4210 (Order Entry) processing options, but I want to understand how the line type can be populated using Advanced Preferences as well.

I have already done the setup in Advanced Preferences, but it is not working as expected—the system still defaults the line type from the processing options. Could you please advise how to override the PO default and make the system pick up the line type from Advanced Preferences.
