use outcome of date_diff in a conditional region

edited Nov 21, 2025 12:41AM in BI Publisher (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓

Hi,

I would like to use the outcome of the date_diff formula <?xdoxslt:date_diff('d', START_DATE_ISO,END_DATE_ISO, $_XDOLOCALE, $_XDOTIMEZONE)?> as a variable in a conditional region, an IF, or a choose statement.

Something like

If outcome = 2, then show region, if = 3, then this region, if >= 4 then this region (where region will be a table with a specific width, but that's besides the point..)

I'm not one for easily giving up, but I've tried all kinds of variations and I'm out of ideas now…

I hope that there is someone who has a briliant idea!

Kind regards,

Howdy, Stranger!
