Check Writer (XML) failed to generate output file when template containing micr font

in BI Publisher (MOSC) Question

The template used in the production instance works as expected. However, we now need to modify the template and are using Oracle Analytics Publisher instead of BI Publisher Desktop. The existing production template was originally created with BI Publisher Desktop.

The MICR font is present in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Oracle\Oracle Analytics Publisher\Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\fonts

However, when previewing the template as a PDF, the MICR font does not render correctly. As a workaround, I created an xdo.cfg file with a font-mapping entry for the MICR font:
