Job Scheduler does not reschedule recurring jobs in recurring type is 41

Our Accounting periods are different then the Gregorian calendar. I have set up scheduled jobs with recurring type 41 about a month ago. The first job went fine, but it did not schedule anything for next month. Is the recurring type not working or did I miss something
