Umlauts : When upgrade to P6 22.12.2 from P6 v19.12

Hello,

One of our business experienced umlauts post an upgrade to 22.12.2 from 19.12

there was often a problem with umlauts (äöü etc.) after an upgrade.

My question is: We're planning for upgrade to P6v24.12.5 next year. Do we need to consider to the correct character set or something?
