ldm hw migration t7 t8

in Oracle Solaris Virtualization (LDOM and ZONES) (MOSC) Question

Hi,

I need to migrate from sparc t-7 to t-8 where there is a control domain a secondary domain and 4 ldom guest.

I think:

  • on t-7 →ldm ls-constrains -x >guest.xml
  • on t-8 i find the wwpn of every hba port
  • on fc switch zoning wwpn with wwpn from SAN
  • on t-8 ldm init-system -i guest.xml and ldm add-config
    on t-8 configure the network.
  • the mpgroup will be automatically configured

Please give me your opinion.
