GL Date Not in Open Period

We have a revenue line which is interfaced and having status as 'Accepted'. But this entry didn't reach to General Ledger because GL Date is in closed period of last fiscal year. We cannot open the old period becuase it will lead to restating our books. Is there a way to change the GL date, for this entry, to the current period so that revenue gets accounted in General Ledger ? We have Grants Accounting and our EBS version is 12.2.5.
