Payables- 1099 Withholding types

Hi,

As we prepare to configure withholding types for 2025, I have a couple of questions:

  1. If our organization does not use certain withholding types or classes proposed by Oracle, can we exclude them from the configuration? Or is it recommended to configure all types regardless of usage?
  2. We’ve noticed that the withholding type descriptions in our system differ from those shown in Oracle’s documentation. Since the descriptions are hardcoded on the 1099 form, is it mandatory to match Oracle’s descriptions exactly?
