Incorrect Depreciation/NBV After Updating Depreciation Rate for Asset Category

We are facing an issue in Oracle EBS R12 Fixed Assets related to depreciation rate changes, and I would appreciate guidance from the community.
Scenario:

• We uploaded opening balances in FA using the Reducing Balance method.
• For the Computer Assets category, depreciation rate was set to 33% during upload (FA period JUL-24).
• In JAN-25, we identified the correct rate should be 33.33%.
• We tested this in TEST environment (changing 33% → 33.33%), ran depreciation for several periods, and everything worked correctly.
• Based on successful testing, we deployed the change in PROD for all assets belonging to that category.
