PeopleSoft 9.2.53 Chartfield Security Rules inquiry view
We are implementing Chartfield Security Rules by Role to restrict access to use of specific Account codes. Two rules were added; one to grant access for reserved accounts and another for access to all other accounts. Testing shows that the rules allow or restrict access to the Account codes based on role assignment during transaction entry as expected. We'd like to allow all users to view transactions with the reserved accounts instead of receiving the message "Access denied due to Chartfield Security (9050,204)". Would this be possible? If so, how would that be configured?
