Guidance Needed for Running Preclone and Preparing EBS Clone on Source

We want to run Preclone on Source and need guidance on the following:

  1. How to run Preclone safely on Source.
  2. How to verify that Preclone ran successfully.
  3. For the clone, do we only need to move which Application Tier directories from the source App server to the target, or do we also need to move anything from the File System/FB server other than the RMAN backup?

We want to make sure we follow the correct steps and move only the required files.
