SIP authentication is not working

After configuring SIP authentication on the 4900 SBC the Sip 407 sent by the client is been proxy to the next hop. How do I get the SBC to re-invite once it receives the SIP 407? SIP authentication is configured on the Session agent and Realm( am fully aware only one is needed As or realm but not both). What am I missing? I already verified that the username and password is the same on both the SBC and the client.
