E1 31 How does the R31410 assings locations to work order part list when committing by WC location?

Hi all, hope someone can help.

I just want to know logic followed by the R31410 report when creating/attaching the work order part list and assigning locations, when committing to work center locations but there is no stock on hand available in that WC location.

Set up:

-Manufacturing constants:

Commitment Control: Split-Don't cross Branch boundaries

Hard/Soft Commit: Soft, Hard when printing

-Branch/Plant constants

Commitment method = 1 (Location with most quantity)

-R31410 WO Processing option - Tab-4 Part list

4. Commitment Processing Bypass: Blank (Commitment processing performed per commitment control)
