Guidance on Clearing Stale Cycle Count Entries

Hi All,
I have a question regarding the cycle count program. During the holiday period, the cycle count program accumulated counts for parts that do not appear on today’s paper report but are still showing in the system as needing to be counted.
I tried using the Clear button, but the entries remain in the system, and the Delete button is grayed out.

Is there a way to remove these stale requests? Specifically:

1. Can we use Purge Cycle Count to clear these entries?
2. If yes, what should be the appropriate Historical Date to enter for the purge?

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
