Missed benefit deduction on 01/03/2026 PPEND for a new benefit plan due to dedcd setup

Recently, we processed payroll for the period 12/21/2025 – 01/03/2026, which was our first payroll of the year. After confirming the payroll, we discovered that the newly introduced benefit plans and deductions were not appearing on the paychecks for employees who enrolled in these plans. As a result, their benefit deductions were not taken.

We identified the issue in the deduction code setup and corrected it by adding the appropriate row in the Tax Class tab for the nontaxable benefit. To validate the fix, we ran the next payroll in our production copy environment for the period 01/04/2026 – 01/17/2026, and the deductions appeared correctly for all enrolled employees.
