Impact of expiring certificates on DMZ deconfiguration
Hi Community Members!
We have a DMZ configuration that has 2 external nodes. We've recently been informed that the feature/services related to the external nodes are no longer required. Now, we are planning to deconfigure and remove the external nodes which will result in just having the features/services related to our 2 internal nodes.
We can see that the "host" certificates (OPMN, FMW wallets …) on the external nodes are expiring in a few weeks. The process to renew these is a rather laborious process. Question here is do we need to renew these certificates to complete all the steps need to deconfigure the DMZ setup? Or, can we let them expire and still be able to deconfigure the external nodes without any issues?
