Project Role added without manager approvals
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on a role provisioning issue in Oracle Fusion Projects.
We have two custom roles for project creation. Our security policy requires Manager approval before IT manually assigns these roles. However, we’ve hit a snag: when a user creates a project and adds themselves as the Project Manager (a mandatory step for budget approval), the system automatically provisions the Standard Project Manager role to them without any approval flow.
This bypasses our internal controls. Has anyone encountered this auto-provisioning behavior? How can we disable this automatic role assignment while still allowing users to be designated as Project Managers on their projects? Thanks!
