Hybrid architecture for PS

Hi Team,

May I know if ever a hybrid architecture i.e. keeping Database on-premise and hosting the PS mid-tier and batch tier alone on MS Azure would work without any latency? Has anybody attempted such a hybrid setup? Are you successful with same?
