Legacy export/import to data pump

We have a legacy db that is in version 9 or 10. The OS for that legacy db is sun solaris and also very old. Since this will be at risk of hardware failure. We are planning to export the db out from the version 9 or to and build a new VM with linux OS and import the data from the export taken in the legacy db to version 19 db. My question is the data or schema to be exported out will be using the traditional export/import utility and OS is in Sun Solaris, in order to import
