Relationship types for Emergency Contact in Fluid ESS and Dependent/Beneficiary on Benefits pages

We allow our employees to update their Emergency Contact information during the Benefits Onboarding event and also in ESS. The Relationship types available in Fluid ESS and OB are exactly the same as the Dependent/Beneficiary relationship types in Personal Data component. We would like to be able to update the relationship values for employees to align with the type of non dependent relationship such as 'Other' or 'Friend'. It appears as thought the table is shared between these two components and the employees do not like the options provided. Has anyone created additional options as relationship types that are not
