Inventory Journal table does not get updated

in Retail Point-of-Service Solutions (MOSC) Question

Inventory Journal table randomly does not get updated after sale transaction or inventory adjustment operations. In few cases, certain items in the same transaction fails to get updated in the inv_inventory_journal table.
