Changing on Sales Order (Line Type W) clears pre-assigned WO Lot before completion
Hi all, I’d like to confirm whether the behavior below is standard in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or if it could indicate a bug/custom trigger.
Scenario
- We have a Sales Order with line type W linked to a Work Order.
- In our site process, a lot number is assigned to the WO before WO completion (i.e., while the WO is still in pre-completion status).
- At the time of the event:
- WO was at status 40 and had lot 20261221159 assigned.
- Sales Order line W was still in status 529 (not yet in 540 / not yet updated by completion).
What happened
A user updated the Carrier on the Sales Order detail. Immediately after that change, the system performed an update that cleared the WO lot number (WO lot became blank).
