Multiple New Hire BAS Events?

Hello! We're on 9.2, image 53. We wanted to see how other organizations do their new hire processing. We currently utilize 2 events: HIR to enroll the new hire in the employer paid plans (STD, LTD, employer paid life/ADD, leave plans), and open a second BAS event that allows the employee enroll in their employee paid plans.

Do you also use two BAS events, or do you only utilize one BAS event? When we upgraded to 9.2 a consultant recommended we break out employer paid plans to their own BAS event and process it first. And now we're curious if it's just as easy to do all of this using one BAS event.
